Our mission
600 million Indians are online. 80 million are looking for a partner. Almost all of them have been scammed, catfished, or harassed on a dating app. That ends here.
We use Aadhaar — the world's largest biometric ID system — to verify that every person on DateInIndia is real. Then we use AI to keep conversations safe. It's not magic. It's just good engineering.

Trust is the only feature that matters
A pretty UI is worthless if your match is a bot. We invest 80% of our engineering effort in verification, fraud detection, and trust. The other 20% is the dating app itself.
Free messaging is non-negotiable
We will never put messaging behind a paywall. Real connections shouldn't be limited by wallet size. Premium is for power users, not for basic human connection.
Built for India, in India
We support 12 Indian languages, 28 states, 8 union territories, every caste, every religion, every orientation. We don't build for San Francisco and call it India.
Your data is yours, not ours
We comply with the DPDP Act 2023. We never sell data. You can export or delete your account in 1 click. Privacy is a feature, not a settings page.
How we got here
The idea
Co-founders Aarav and Priya met on a dating app. Both had been scammed multiple times. They started sketching DateInIndia on a whiteboard in Koramangala.
The Aadhaar breakthrough
After 6 months of regulatory back-and-forth, we got sandbox approval to use Aadhaar for dating verification. The world's first.
Beta launch in Bengaluru
10,000 members. 96% match rate. ₹0 spent on ads. Word-of-mouth carried us.
Pan-India launch
50L+ members. 28 states. Aadhaar-verified by default. Free messaging forever. We're just getting started.
